Rajeevi Sriram Residence
The design brief presented by the client was for a tropical modern residence that mirrored the spaces of a Chettinad house. Thus a large courtyard for the client’s family to get together served as the axis mundi for the residential spaces to be planned around. A large vernacular MS grille covered this courtyard which creates lovely shadows through the year.
