This residence is nestled in between a mature coconut palm grove. The design brief was to create a balance between tropical contemporary Chennai expression and a rustic cottage feel. The plan meanders between the green to create spaces that look out onto a lawn, a padipura (entry portal) and a large internal courtyard that houses a swimming pool. The house is built of dried mud blocks with filler slab roofs.
